2017 MS Kickoff Meeting

It was an honor and a pleasure to have Colleen Kalt, the President and CEO of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Wisconsin Chapter stop by for our annual MS Kickoff Meeting and share her thoughts and updates regarding MS. Our Store Managers are so excited and passionate about selling the pin-ups. I know they cannot wait to hear the stories that their customers share with them and how this disease affects so many people.

MS Winning Afternoon At Arlington Park Race Track!

We have an amazing team of managers and employees that go above and beyond to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society every year. And this year we raised $35,000…WOW, what a remarkable amount that is. As a thank you for their hard work we invited the managers to an afternoon at the Horse Races.horses_racing_to_the_finish_lg_clr_12785 What a great outing it was, the weather was spectacular and the venue was outstanding.

For quite a few of us this was our first time at the racetracks and learning how to place bets was quite entertaining. Here are some photos from such a fun afternoon.

2016 National Multiple Sclerosis Society – Wisconsin Chapter Walk

For the past 18 years, we have been proud to participate in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society – Wisconsin Chapter Walk every year and this year was no different.

This was by far the coldest Walk many of our employees had participated in. However, it wasn’t anything that a nice hot cup of coffee and a donut or any of the other wonderful breakfast foods that Open Pantry sponsored (juices, water, fruit, bagels and some breakfast bars) couldn’t fix.

For 2016 we were able to raise $35,000 for this great cause by selling MS Pin-ups & bracelets. Some of the stores also had bake sales to raise money.

Here are a couple photos from the MS Walk.
